Schneidewind, born in 1958 in Baumholder, is an independent instructor, author,
journalist, musician and publisher. He lives in Hemsbach,
near the Bergstraße at the edge of the Odenwald; before, he lived, for example,
in Berlin and Trier, for around 20 years in Saarbrücken and some years in Mannheim.
The agnostic and vegetarian has studied biology and some semesters in computing
science. From 1990 until 1995 he was the head of his own offset printing house,
since 1991 he is head of twe publishing houses. He trains the attendants of educational
institutions and training-firms, as well as directly the employees in firms and
in employee representative committees, offers training in his own institution AKABIS, and is partner in a
company, which offers a professional
advancement qualification for economists specialized in media in the region Rhein-Neckar.
Schneidewind is an independent author and editor,
besides numerous articles,
essays and songs which appeared in magazines, anthologies and on CD he
published several stories and 16 books.
Apart from that, he published some MCs,
CDs and videos.

has chosen a statement by the german author Gerhard Zwerenz:
»Books that were written after the events, that they describe, have ended,
do not have a true value in times of great danger, because no one has the
power to influence past occurences, they have become past time, unchangeable

beforehand, what could – but need not – be happening in the future,

- Since 1993
Schneidewind is chairman of the publishing house VERBVersum Kultur und Medien GmbH and since 1997 he is the publishing
director of the Verlag der Villa Fledermaus; between 1991 and 1995 he was chairman of the publishing
house LOGOS-Verlag Saarbruecken. Until now he has edited more than 200 non-fiction
and over 30 fiction and poetry books (of many of them he also was the layout
man), as well as several CDs, MCs and videos.
Schneidewind has published several books,
he is member of the publishing-team ot the series Rhein-Neckar-Brücke and
the edition Edition
STEIN UND BAUM (EDITION STONE AND TREE). Between 1991 and 1997
he was the editor of the magazine »Saarländisches Kultur-Journal«.
1987 Friedhelm Schneidewind works as a journalist
and since 1995 he is the sole editor of the internet-magazine Vampyr-Journal.
From 1989 until 1995 he was editor-in-chief of the newspapers »Saarbrücker
Anzeiger«, »Saarbrücker Studentenzeitung« and the magazine »Saarländisches
articles and essays were published in numerous magazines
and books (List).
Schneidewind works as independent instructor
and expert on different topics, especially in the fields DTP/media
communication and PR work as well as literature,
anthropology and ethics in science.
- The main
emphasis in training are at the moment media design (theory and practice/training
in programms), application training and public relations/training in the art
of writing. In the last field Schneidewind offers his own
training for employee representative committees.
In cooperation with the GQiB Gesellschaft
für Qualifizierung im Beruf he offers the professional
advancement qualification for economists in media (German Chamber of Industry
and Commerce) in the region Rhein-Neckar.
is a member of the examination board of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
Rhein-Neckar for economists in media specialized in digital and print media,
he is also entitled to instruct not only media design but also in the fields
of office administrators and publishing managers.
- From 2001 until
2003 Schneidewind was employed at the Berufsförderungswerk
Heidelberg as instructor and trainer for media design (2002/03 he was
member of the employee representative comittee), from 1999 until 2001 he was
course director for DTP at the IBS Mannheim.
- In connection
with the work on a scientific paper about vampire films, he was temporary
lecturer at the »Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen Konrad Wolf« (HFF, Potsdam-Babelsberg)
in 1999, in spring 2000 he was consultant of the St.-Michael-Gymnasium in
Ahlen (Northrhine-Westphalia) at the drawing of a literature and Internet
project. Often he trains computer programms in firms (references).
Schneidewind also likes to play music
together with his medieval group »Conventus
Tandaradey« or as a single bard at medieval meals and feasts, he
also plays music in different musically roles, for example as Oswald
von Wolkenstein; he also sometimes leads music-workshops.

several years he led a group that made chamber baroque music. For more than
30 years he sang regularly in choires, for about 10 years he sang only when
the occasion arrived, in project choires.

which he had written and staged together with his ex-wife Ulrike after the
story of the same name by Sheridan
LeFanu and with which both of them were on a very successful tour through
Germany from 1994 until 1999 and in other countries (1995 Georgia, 1996 Rumania).
